Hailing from Ohio, NYXZ strives to be creative and unique in a saturated market, seeking to create a journey and story for their listeners. NYXZ's music often looks inwards, seeds of self-reflection and struggle watered with a fearless attitude towards breaking the boundaries of genres and narrative, blossoming into an experience that is entirely unique and unable to be found elsewhere, delving into dark and raw emotion. Their alternative style is mixed heavily with influences from multiple genres, but combined into a unique, emotional experience with an approach at metaphorical storytelling that sticks with the listener, not afraid to challenge comfort zones with bold and layered storytelling.
Who is NYXZ?
NYXZ is a non-binary indie musician, self-taught and always learning more. At the age of 16 they began delving into the world of music production, determined to find a way to bring life to their passion. Music gave NYXZ an escape from an otherwise difficult life, growing up in a divorced household and struggling with mental illness and manipulation, offering comfort and reason. As they grew up, moving out and leaving state to settle in Ohio, they've finally found a situation that allows them to delve into music more intensely and seriously, and they hope to share their vision with the world.
